How many times it happened there ,Before we called it Performance(weight of stone)

weight of stone

My practice of performance is direct or some time I will be correspondence of my act, Death and memory and witnessing of all in space history and fiction narration of such space. Allow me to work and deal with different method, through the image making wit body or photography, I believe i am a painter I am using photography as a painting method, here All space is from my native city Deoghar (Jharkhand) where I grown up since then I visit my city, and water problem day bay day increasing in city, and there is no any resource, there is rain river emerge in monsoon day after that in summer it get dry, so my memory the river in child hood as well now total change and it was all most death space, even the sand is big issue of land Mafia, as well stone are using for cement factory and building making all are political and lace issue which we are dealing with, lot of murder case for all mafia now in survey of environment after 15 year there is no water, water lave1 will draw so deep, so there possible to not excess water from won, every one buying water thought the performance making or before I visit space for knowing and understating the situation and history I thought is very hidden process of performance and convection between me and my body, space and fact of survey. Then I perform in the space, so for me; I am re performing in same space, and that is reference with the death happen before so many time for water, land, sand and stone. Therefore my action is repletion of all those real and fictional fact of space.

Song Of Clipping

Shahpur jatt, a village with narrow lanes, unplanned constructions, and the typical lifestyle of the Jatt community, also a village with a number of country’s best boutiques and designer houses, a village of a large number of migrated laborers specially the craftsperson, a village of fashion and fame, hunger and hard work, designers houses and life in slums, the village shows many layers of human life and its contradictions

This series is basically a reading/rereading of the continuous changes, differences, contradictions and parallel lives of the place; Where human faces looks like machines, and machines are getting more value and honor than human. That conflict is metaphore of paradoxical question of human exsistance and life . That conflict is metaphor of paradoxical question of human existence and life

Lost and found

Lost and Found
Lost and found for me is a search for existence. Existentialism, which emphasizes individual existence, freedom and choice. Something absent here is present there; somewhere and I try to make rational suppositions despite existing in an irrational universe. Sections in newspapers or websites which talk about missing people and things always anchors my ship of thought.

lost found

The irony of it being talked about, being mentioned in that column is itself a presence for it. And that reference invokes discussions and thoughts about the same. You find yourself questioning about its being. I believe that life has no meaning the moment you lose the illusion of being eternal.

This  Installation is  Part of Al-Revelar show Curated By Julia Vellasenor IN Vaderha art gallery New Delhi 2015

Our existence is to me an unsolved Mystery. We continue to search ourselves at the same time we are searching new galaxies for signs of life ,space and time continue to be the dimensions that guide our spiritual and scientific pursuits, In the Spiritual realm, our celestial body transforms constantly and seems like a dream,
Face in the newspaper, missing children, women, men are all anonymous to me , I look in the mirror and realize my face is also unknown; we are a mystery. Searching their erased features makes me question myself, question the “I”

My search has begun in the missing person column of the national newspapers and took me to the unending online files of missing individuals. I try to reactivate their memory by taking them into my artistic research and into the exhibition space , calling out there names, re prints their images as objects of memory, distorted ,blurred , unrecognizable and again unknown .

The lament of Painted  photo

The idea behind this Cynotype print  try to look at seemingly unimportant and useless things such as darkness and motionlessness while opening a space for self reflection. The smallness of the sound and the peace of darkness and stillness will allow us to rest the mind.

Our whole universe is made of darkness and light, these polar energies make everything that is known to us. We tend to focus on light most of our waking hours but it is in darkness that we can connect to the outer spheres of our surroundings.

Blanckness gives us the possibility to rest the mind and to be able to look again at the world in a new light. During meditation, we force our mind to achieve complete stillness and to exit all images in the eye of our mind, thus facing a blank/dark moment. This installation attempts to immerse the visitor into such an

experience. Darkness gives us the power of imagination where all creative images arise.

I  have been a keen observant of life and death and the whole milieu consisting metaphysical curiosity and cosmic cycle of life, led me to depiction of human forms in order to relate the supernatural world; through the time of my learning as a student what basic thing I formed as a idea, is the philosophy of forming and deforming attending Transformations; which is somewhere base of my current works also. In my current works I have connected these following things to shifting and changing notions of urbanized world, through the form of a simple fruit like Papaya. The transformation of a pure form is something which I enjoy playing with; a natural simple form develops gradually, relocates itself as a fascinating form. The entire stuff makes its presence in my art works as a fruit form along with glimpse of other aspects of life also. Firstly, the aspect of sexuality; which also comes in my earlier works; but in a metropolitan arena now the spiritual milieu of Varanasi ghats and Deogarh satsang ashram replaced by the glamorous world of metropolitan city. The glamorous outside of a female body attracts me somewhere in provocative way as earlier I never felt the sexual orientation in my own body of thinking; now I visualize the Papaya as a vaginal form also and the small seeds identifying the mystery of origin i.e. birth and death and their transforming state. And secondly, the process of how a frequent and cushy object is made modernized for consuming purposes in the urban space, interests me a lot; as I have experienced the 3 shifting and changing notions of commercialization. In any commercial access common objects are intentionally made attractive, well packaged and reproduced for consuming purposes. Similarly I observed the marketing and consuming process of the fruit papaya. Through it’s not a favorable fruit, but packaging makes branded. The journey of a fruit from village’s tree, then to a manufacturing place and finally to an urban market, with a branded sticker on it signifies the branded quality.
